Responsible for business operations, client relations, and forensic evaluation of new and existing construction.
Charlie has over 20 years of experience with building enclosure design, consulting and testing. Charlie is a Building Performance Enclosure Consultant and a Building Science Thermographer. He has developed forensic techniques, processes and testing protocols for windows systems, roof systems, walls, below-grade, building enclosures and overall building enclosure systems and performance.

Architect / Project Manager
Responsible for client relations, creation and execution of building enclosure plans and forensic evaluation of existing construction. Performs Building Enclosure Commissioning and consulting, site visits and observations, report creation and submission, and all related project management.
Devin is a Building Enclosure Commission Process Provider and is certified with Accredited Commissioning Authority+Building Enclosure credentials. He has more than 25 years experience in the design and construction of building enclosures. He has successfully worked on technically demanding building renovations and his commissioning process and building science project involvement has given him the understanding and experience needed to identify concerns, respond to challenges and provide solutions. Experienced with all phases of project development, Devin is adept at coordinating complex project teams and is a skilled communicator. He brings a calm and confident presence to his work, expertly guiding projects from inception through completion.

Operations Manager / Project Manager
Responsible for creation and execution of building enclosure plans and forensic evaluation of existing construction. Tim excels at onsite assessments and observations, he delivers timely reports and manages client relations and all related project management.
Tim is a detail-driven consultant with more than 20 years experience in all phases of construction management. Tim’s experience installing and inspecting building envelopes gives him a unique advantage in defect diagnostics and litigation support. With over 15 years focused on enclosures, Tim has an intuitive talent for investigating and diagnosing defective products and installations. He brings a complete range of knowledge including writing construction specifications and enclosure assessments, peer review of industry designs, value engineering, inspections, design, contract administration and construction oversight. Project experience includes large scale rehabilitations, governmental and institutional contracts, K-12 and higher education campuses, historic structures, multi-family complexes and commercial properties.

Engineer / Project Manager
Provides forensic engineering, consulting and design services as they pertain to weather protection for buildings. Zachary specializes in water intrusion investigations, building remediation design, construction oversight and expert witness testimony as well as construction administration and third party construction compliance observations with timely report submissions.
During Zachary’s 14-year professional career as a consultant, he has been involved in multiple LEED accredited projects and he has worked with owners to implement energy efficient building facades. His diversified experience in commercial construction brings working perspectives as a fabricator, designer and design consultant. Zachary founded his own engineering firm and this owner background makes him especially conscientious of client resources and working within budget constraints. He maintains engineering licensure in Oregon, Washington and California and has a working knowledge of current and historical building codes.

Director of Sales & Marketing / Community Liaison
Dan develops and maintains client relationships. He engages with and informs clients who are new to our services. Dan is equally pivotal to QEC’s ongoing support of our long-term client relations. He is a conduit between QEC team members and clients, ensuring that communications and expectations are understood. When an RFP is issued, Dan is quick to respond - and he follows the project through to completion.
Dan is an avid golfer. His favorite way to build relationships is along a tree-lined fairway!

Account Manager
Shauna supports QEC clients and our internal teams with enthusiasm and attention to detail. Shauna interfaces on all projects from initial contact and RFPs through billing and close-out. Our clients and consultants rely on Shauna’s account oversight. Shauna joined our team in 2021 and has been a vital part of our growth. She also throws a great party and can run further than our team members added together!
